With the Keter Torah Award.
Your lifetime of dedication and achievements in enhancing the Jewish life and with the spread of Torah learning in Great Neck and beyond is truly unparalleled. In the 1970’s , you built the Great Neck Synagogue gym and built the Great Neck Eruv. In the 1980’s, you helped purchase and expand the Cherry Lane campus of the North Shore Hebrew Academy. You started the Cherry Lane Minyan and founded the GNS participatory minyan which is now the thriving Beis Midrash Minyan. You continue to produce the Insights on the Parsha sheets weekly for all to enjoy and you compiled three Insights seforim so that everyone can have a dvar torah on demand. Thirteen years ago, you single-handedly started the Great Neck Scholars Kollel which continues to offer daily Torah learning for retirees. It is also worth mentioning that you support Grill Time and Bistro like no one else in Great Neck.

Thank you for always being a tremendous role model throughout your entire life for your family and for the entire Great Neck community.  We wish you many more years of achievements and Torah learning in good health and happiness always surrounded by your good friends and family.

We join in honoring Didi and Adam Hutt  and Ariella & Abraham Sedgh for their many years of tireless dedication to the Great Neck Synagogue and the broader Great Neck community.  May you all go from strength to strength and enjoy many more S’machot together with your amazing families.

We would like to thank Rabbi Polakoff for his many years of guidance and support.  Our family has been a part of GNS for 60 years and uniquely consists of 5^th generation Great Neck Synagogue members. During that time, we have witnessed the tremendous growth of Jewish life in Great Neck and the Great Neck Synagogue remains at the center of this expansion. Yasher Koach to you and all of the Rabbinic leaders that have inspired us over the years.

Finally, we would like to thank the Rabbis and Students of the Scholars Kollel of Great Neck.   The Kollel offers high level learning (and breakfast) every morning and is open to everyone.   We get a lot of nachas that the Kollel has reached its 13 year Bar Mitzvah milestone and we hope that it continues to thrive and provide people of all ages the ability to learn Torah together.  

 May our community and our shul continue to be blessed by Hashem.
